After the success of four product lines, Poddie raised its ambitions with its newest collection. This time they went all in: booths configurable to each client, a wider range of products and colours, custom add-ons. They needed a website that matched the quality of their products. I joined the project as lead Webflow developer.

The team working on the website had more than 10 people. We needed a structure for the build, otherwise after two months we would have had complete chaos. We chose the Client-First framework, and I trained the team on how to build so things stayed in order.
Besides the website itself, we had two user conversion paths to build and a configurator to create from scratch.

One way of building for the whole team.
We started by agreeing the rules: Client-First, class naming, grid, ready-made components. Everyone who joined the project built the same way, and each new page was assembled from what already existed.
Products in the Webflow CMS.
Models, versions, colours, add-ons and prices live in the CMS. The product page, the configurator and the quote form all draw from the same place, and the data flows on to Shopify, Salesforce, Make and Google Sheets. You add a new product in the database, not in the design.
A configurator with real-time renders.
You choose a model, version, colour and add-ons, and the booth view changes as soon as you click. Renders load on the fly, and your choices are remembered and travel with you.
Two ways to check out instead of one.
The same basket ends with a request for an invoice or a purchase through Shopify. Those ordering in larger quantities get a separate form and receive a quote.

Webflow Development
Building two ordering paths: a configurator for single booths and an enquiry form for larger orders. Supporting the team with the hardest build tasks.
Custom code
The configurator: choosing a model, colours and add-ons, loading renders on the fly, remembering choices and carrying them across pages through to the order summary.
Integration with external systems
Basket and payments through Shopify. Order export to Salesforce. Automations in Make. On-site event tracking through Google Tag Manager.
Launch and training
Moving three websites to new domains and updating the previous ones. Training the team to run the website, and support during the first month after launch.

CineLine
A new website built from scratch for CineLine: film post-production for producers and their own eDelivery system for delivering films to cinemas.
Michał gave the site an artistic look that fits our needs perfectly. He was easy to work with, and communication was refreshingly informal.
